From democracy to anarchy, from diversity to individuality, from voting to consensus,
people find so many ways to live out the natural human cravings for inclusion, fairness and autonomy. These needs show up in families, workplaces, schools, communities and organizations of all kinds.
The practice of consensus-building and consensus decision-
making has dominated a lot of progressive administrations
in small government, intentional communities and
progressive businesses for decades, but recently there’s
been a movement toward even broader developments in
inclusive and efficient self-government.
As these methodologies emerge and evolve, we look forward
to sponsoring introductory workshops in the latest and most
recommended developments. In addition to continuing to
offer short courses on the basics of consensus and best
meeting and facilitation practices, new forms of self-
governance are getting our attention. We presented our first
public workshop on Sociocracy with Diana Leafe Christian
several years ago, and look forward to future offerings from Diana and others in the field.
We’ll be keeping our eyes on the evolution of self-governance as opportunities to explore, master and evolve healthy, holistic, energy---regenerative ways of living and working together.
